A Few Tips For Super-Charging Your Article And Achieving Your Goals

Once your article is ready ensure that you SEO optimize it before you submit it to the article directories. This is to help you get that top listing on google that is so important.

To do this bring out the keyword phrase(s) that you’ve decided on targeting as discussed in our last post. Remember we said the keyword phrase should have 1,000 to 5,000 optimized results. Working with this, follow the below steps to optimize your article before submitting it.

1. ?Your title is the most important thing. Make sure your keyword is in your title. For example:

You want to have your optimized phrase as close to the beginning of your title as possible.

2. Article length: The ideal article is between 300 and 500 words long.

3. Keyword density ? This simply means how many times you use your optimized keyword phrase in your article. Though many argue that the search engines do not consider this as much of importance now, I like to use a simple rule of the thumb. For every hundred words in my article I include the optimized keyword phrase once or a small amount more. So if I am writing a 300-500 word article on tie dye instructions I would use the phrase ?tie dye instructions? 3 to 5 times. You may want to use some key density tool to gauge this.

4. Be sure to include your keyword phrase in the opening paragraph and the closing paragraph a couple of times.

That is basically all I do in the way of SEO. Once you have got your article optimized and ready to go you’d want to use the following guide in submitting them to the article directories.

Before you pitch your articles to anyone, you must read their guidelines carefully. Failing to follow the set guidelines for posting/submitting your article will usually end with straight out rejection.

Article directories are – by far – the very best FREE resource to gain quality links and traffic back to your website. Once you’ve done this, you’ll have thousands of links all across the Internet, each pointing back to your website… again FREE!

By submiting two, three, five or ten articles you’d have begun building back links to your website in no time. You can also shift your article marketing into high gear and explode your sales and profits with the following submission process:

First off, I want to tell you that you should only submit each article you write to one directory. If you want to submit an article to multiple directories, you may want to change it up a little bit. Try to change your article about 25% overall.

Here are some of the more popular article and ad submission sites:

www.Ezinearticles.com ? This directory has a reputation for only putting the best articles on their site. You cannot blatantly promote a program or it will be considered as spam and will not see the day of light. Also this directory will not allow you to put affiliate links in the body or the author info box. You will have to direct them to your website or a page that redirects them to your affiliate?s website.

This directory is the most powerful of them all. It has a PR of 6 or 7 (the highest is 10) EzineArticles will get you listed on the first page of Google with up to 10,000 competing results. I advice that you submit your article first to this directory before submitting it any other.

You might be saying then ?what if I don?t have a website?? Simple enough you use sites like blogger.com and wordpress.com. These free blog sites gives you a free website to direct your article readers to without facing penalty from Ezinearticles.

www.Goarticles.com ? The second most powerful of the directories and a great place for the beginner to start out. Goarticles allows you to link directly to your affiliate?s site.

www.UsFreeAds.com ? Another great site for a newbie with no website. Also great for advanced marketers as Google loves UsFreeAds. Most ads when you follow my technique will show up in two weeks. Instead of writing a whole article, all you will have to do is write a paragraph? which will easily show up on Google?s first page. Remember you have to put your optimized keyword phrase in the title.

The only drawback to UsFreeAds is that it doesn?t have the same page rank as Goarticles or Ezinearticles? so you will have to adjust your formula to 1000 or less optimized results on Google.

Additional Tip: Submit your article?s url to Google and other website submission directories. This does not help speed up the indexing process a whole lot but it does let Google know that your article is there at least.
