Bruised economy likely to limp into next year? What should you then do?

Just checked on Yahoo News this morning to see what’s the latest about the floundering economy and the hullabaloo about the impending doom.
Was I disappointed? Of course not, because I wasn’t expecting something different.
As usual, here is the news:
“Bruised Economy Likely To Limp Into Next Year”
Beaten down by housing, credit and financial crises, the bruised economy is likely to drag into next year, leaving more people out of work and more businesses wary of making big investments.
Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, scheduled to appear Monday before the House Budget Committee, is likely to once again put the country on notice that there won’t be a quick fix.
Even if the turmoil gripping Wall Street were to let up and badly shaken confidence in the banking system fully restored, a “broader economic recovery will not happen right away,” Bernanke warned last week. “Economic activity will fall short of potential for a time,” he said.”
That’s really gloomy isn’t it? Just imagine:
1. We do not expect any respite soonest!
2. More people will lose their jobs!
3. Businesses will be wary of making big investments!
But, seriously, if there is nothing the government officials and economic experts can do about the economy right now, if the current economic crisis will worsen and more and more people will become homeless, jobless and broke, is there not a way you can protect yourself today?
What Is The Best Antidote For A Slumping Economy?
In the “Richest Man In Babylon,” that ageless classic on financial wisdom by George Clason, a whole chapter was devoted to “The Walls of Babylon” where an enemy force was presented as pushing against the city while most of the fighting soldiers were away with the king on another campaign. The citizens of Babylon were left to the mercy of the Walls of Babylon. It’s either the walls stand up to the challenge and protect the city or the walls give way and the city is taken.
For days and nights without ceasing, the enemy force tried to pull down the walls and gain access to the city. There was fear and uncertainty as both the children, women and older men who could not go to war hid themselves behind the walls. But throughout the siege the wise old soldier at the city gate assured the people of the power of the Walls of Babylon to protect them.
The good news: the Walls did protect the people despite all the bartering of the enemies.
The moral of the story? Build your own wall of defense and no enemy will be able to intimidate you!
Now think about that.
You need to build a wall of defense to protect you and your loved ones against the enemy forces of poverty and want. The slumping economy and impending economic doom being predicted by the economic experts are your enemies. They want to rob you of your joy. They want to put fear in you until you are paralyzed by that fear.
Why wait till when things get worst. You can build your own “Walls of Babylon” now.
While the bureaucrats and all the government officials are banging their hands to proffer a solution I think now is the time the average citizen should take proactive measures to build an economic fortress that will defend him/her from the ugly claws of the economic doom.
This is the right time to build your own business rather than depending on a salary. And the best form of a business that is perfect for a slumping economy is:
>>> A business with low overhead, where you can build and maintain the business with VERY little monthly outlay and expenses.
>>> A business that can be run from the comfort of your home, without having to commute and worry about *outrageous* gas prices!
>>> A business where there are many topics and markets to choose from – if one market isn’t buying, EASILY switch to another!
>>> A business, if you desire, you can run and build *on the side*, working a job until you’re making enough with your business to tell your boss “good bye!”
>>>> A business with an unlimited income-potential, where there’s absolutely no cap on how much YOU can make!
>>> A business where you’re in FULL control as your-own-boss, where you set your own hours, and where you work as much or as little as you “demand”.
Wondering if there’s really such a business?
Of course there is and you can even have FREE information on how to start and run that business right now. Click here and download this free ebook. (Right click and “save as” to download to your desktop).

It’s time to raise your eyes and see beyond the economic recession. If you know when to strike, it’s entirely possible to use this recession to your advantage.
